Wine lovers fill The Garage Collective for VINO POP

Last Friday like minded wine lovers filled The Garage Collective for VINO POP, an engaging wine tasting experience put on by I like this grape. As a follow up to last year's wildly successful SOMMX event I like this grape co-founders, Naushad Huda and wife Kathy Lajvardi, are establishing themselves as the voice of modern wine culture. VINO POP featured wines from the Napa Valley Region also highlighted in the acclaimed book Drive Through Napa. Certified Master Sommelier, Micah Sampson, lead the four course procession where corresponding jello wine bites were passed around. Gourmet tastes were created by The Hardware House Kitchen and an enormous cheese and charcuterie table by Tablo graced an entire room. Signed copies of the book Drive Through Napa, co-written by Huda and illustrated by Lajvardi, were given to each guest and two wine aficionados who guessed correctly the varietal and the year of the Rombauer tasting each were gifted a bottle.
