This Weekend in Laguna...


The Sawdust Art Festival has been given the green light to open the doors to their Outdoor Weekend Marketplace "Groove In The Grove" beginning this Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Admission is $10 for adults and free for kids 12 and under. The Outdoor Marketplace will offer a safe and intimate environment within the Sawdust Art Festival’s three-acre eucalyptus grove where visitors can shop, and enjoy outdoor dining and live music.
Nearly 100 Sawdust artists will rotate through 48 spaces every weekend, so visit often during the six-week trial! Maximum capacity will be limited to 250 guests at one time.

Laguna Craft Guild: Sunday, Sept. 20th, 9 am -5 pm

 

The Arts and Crafts Show on the Main Beach Cobblestones next to the ocean in downtown Laguna returns this Sunday. The show features handmade arts and crafts by Sawdust artists who will be alternating weekends at Sawdust Marketplace. Pick up a special piece of hand-made jewelry, a functional ceramic vessel, incredible blown glass, beautiful paintings, photographs, and more unique items.

Fridays from 5 pm-7 pm, Laguna Beach Live!, known for its jazz concerts, offers up a more eclectic mix of styles throughout September with "Eclectic Fridays". This Friday features multi-woodwind specialist, Gary Gould.

A mystery solo or mellow duo performs Saturday 6 pm-9 pm and Sundays 3 pm-6 pm. There is public seating, where you can relax and enjoy food and drink from a neighboring restaurant. You may also dine on the patio, and now partially indoors, on The Promenade at Alessa, 230 Forest Ave., Brussels Bistro, or Moulin Bakery.
