The all new Vibe/Best of Laguna Beach Winner’s Guide hit the streets last week. In it we list the voted top two of 90 categories in our 3rd Annual Best of Laguna Beach Reader Voted Contest. We hope this inspires you to explore the town and get to know these businesses and places of interest. During delivery we encountered River Samek's Pop-Up Mosh Coffee Bar on The Garage Collective patio. His "Undertow" shot made of espresso and condensed milk hit the sweet spot. @moshcoffeeofficial

Local dignitaries, friends, family and yoga enthusiasts attended the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting at The Yoga Line located at 1853 S. Coast Hwy. Co-owners of The Yoga Line, Shereen Loth and Shannon Saathoff, design and manufacture an extensive line of yoga wear that takes you to and from class in comfort and style.

Although the sun was shining, it was chilly enough to don your favorite comfy winter sweater Saturday morning at the Farmers Market. The latest discovery was the purveyor of freshly made Coconut Milk products. The “Stra-berries and Creme", Coconut Milk and Fresh Strawberries combo tastes incredible!! Load up your basket this Saturday with something new at the Farmers Market, 8am-noon, next to City Hall.

Musical Highlights:

On Friday Paul Mars Black brought his Rock 'n Roll A-Game along with heavyweight musician friends at Mozambique.
Saturday's Mozambique was "Skanking" (rhythmic dance performed to reggae or ska music) for sold out show, The English Beat and The Highwayman Show this coming Friday, performs a tribute to country music's outlaws.

The Ranch was in full (golf) swing on what was a glorious Sunday where guests relaxed on The Porch enjoying the melodies of the Grace Freeman Trio. Singer/songwriter Grace Freeman on keys and guitar, Douglas Miller on violin and box beats by Brandon Wildfire. Sunday Playoff Football Funday was the attraction at almost every restaurant or bar in town and proved very good for business. When all was said and done and Super Bowl teams were determined, Anesha Rose and her dad Bil (yes, Bil with one L) played their big hearts out for an appreciative crowd at The Cliff. Congratulations to Anesha for winning Best Solo Performer two years in a row!

This Week’s Event Highlights:

Laguna Beach Beer Company will host the monthly No Cover, Comedy Showcase with Host Ed Steinfeld on Wednesday at 7:30pm. Ed wakes up Laguna weekdays with "Mornings with Ed" on KXFM. Five comics will unleash their raw, side-splitting views of the world and hopefully make you laugh out loud. Great beer and snacks are a bonus.

Thursday night 7-10pm, the Marine Room Tavern hosts the Music Preserves Foundation's One Year Anniversary Party featuring the James Martin Band from New Orleans. $35 advance/$40 door. For more info: musicpreserves.org

This coming Sunday from 7-9pm Skyloft welcomes Laguna’s favorite busking father and daughter duo, the Tomi Tom Sho. After seven years on the corner of Forest Ave. and S. Coast Hwy. the duo are moving indoors for a well-deserved change of scenery.

I have been a personal trainer in LB for 20 years. So, when the virus closed my doors, I created training videos. I also created facial masks for people to use in town, so we protect each other by protecting ourselves.
