Taco Tuesday: Kitchen in the Canyon

There's quite a buzz happening at Kitchen in the Canyon and the VIBE has the low down. On Tuesdays after 11am, a line-up quickly forms for the Kitchen's gourmet, street style tacos and it's no surprise why. There are six types of mouth watering tacos surrounded by two chewy corn tortillas, all for the low price of $3.00 for Carnitas, Chicken, and Veggie and $3.50 for Seafood.

Carnitas, as expected, is both meaty and juicy, and Carnitas Al Pastor is slowly cooked in a tangy, barbecue pineapple sauce. Both are topped with a creamy avocado spread. The Veggie taco is their spiciest, filled with roasted peppers, sweet corn and seasoned chunks of potato while seafood lovers can sink their chops into ample bites of grilled shrimp or cod whitefish. Those are topped with a creamy jalapeño slaw. 

The Jade Citrus or Peach Black Iced Teas are refreshing but beer and wine will be joining the menu soon. There’s plenty of parking and lots of room for your next Taco Tuesday get together!
