January Art Walk - PHOTOS

Last Thursday Art Walk fell on a brisk, winter evening but a warm coat, hat, scarf, and some gloves made the walking about town very enjoyable. It was a great opportunity to bid farewell to the Art Colony exhibit at Laguna Art Museum (still on till Jan. 13th). It was nice chatting with resident artist Jenny Simon at The Signature Gallery and catching up with Nichole McDaniel who is currently exhibiting with Lu Martin Galleries - Laguna Beach. Lu and Greg Martin, owners of Lu Martin Galleries, hosted a superb young cellist, Hitoshi Suzuki and were very pleased with the large turnout. A few member galleries were not open but a closed gallery can provide for an interesting photo (eg: Lindsay Rapp, Cast of Crowns). Looking ahead, the next First Thursdays Art Walk is on February 7th, 6pm-9pm, so check our page for a list of the highlights a few hours prior.
