Summer at Laguna Playhouse is for “musical” lovers. July’s Million Dollar Quartet was amazing and this month’s bio of Judy Garland’s 1968 comeback is a tour de force. Book a pre-show dinner with your besties at new hot spots like South of Nick’s or OAK and then Uber on down to the Playhouse to grab a cocktail before curtain. Afterward, check LagunaNow.com on your mobile device for live music in the clubs cuz the night is still young!
KX93.5 recently broadcasted a free networking event for selfemployed women to share their expertise with one another. The event is every third Thursday at 5pm at The SOUL Project. It’s a “Say and Ask” platform where women introduce themselves, their work and goals for the next 6 months. A perfect environment to exchange ideas and socialize.
